Destiny or Design is an up and coming band from Long Island, New York. They pride their music upon diverse influences from a variety of different genres, ranging from fusion to hardcore. Since forming from several local acts in the summer of '06, Jordan Schneider, Tommy Fleischmann, Dave DiPrimo, and Doug Torres have been constantly taking each other's song writing abilities far past the level reached by any of their previous acts. They have since found themselves collectively taking pride in their new group's originality, and hard work ethic. In the winter of '06, they entered the studio of engineer Bill Jahn to record their first three song demo. In support of this demo, Destiny or Design played an array of shows throughout Long Island, bringing a consistent following to each performance. This demo, along with their passion and ambition, helped them gain recognition from producer/engineer Bryan Russell (Envy On The Coast, Straylight Run). Destiny or Design entered Russell's studio at the end of July '07, and worked diligently everyday with their producer to achieve the best product they could. The final master was cut in the middle of October and the result is a debut EP, entitled "1000 Strong," filled with innovation and power. Destiny or Design plans to continue working hard in support of their first release; playing as many shows and reaching out to as many people as possible.
