About...
From Age to Age, under the artistic direction of Andrew Miller, is a 16-voice a cappella choral ensemble comprised of singers from across the state of Minnesota. Ensemble singers are trained, accomplished, and compensated vocal musicians who wish to combine their passion for music with humanitarian purposes. Singers are committed to presenting quality choral music to communities and to populations traditionally underserved by the arts. Hence, while the ensemble does perform in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area at least twice annually, our primary commitment is to cities, small towns, and rural areas in the outstate regions.
The ensemble contributes 10% of its performance revenues to carefully chosen humanitarian organizations that promote lasting and sustainable global change. From Age to Age currently supports The One Acre Fund which helps starving Kenyan families lift themselves out of poverty by teaching sustainable agricultural practices; and The Central Asia Institute (Three Cups of Tea) which builds schools in rural areas of Pakistan and Afghanistan, promoting peace through education. From Age to Age relies on performance revenues and the generosity of individuals to support its work. From Age to Age is a nonprofit corporation with 501(c)3 status in process. Donations are fully tax deductible.
