The Den Collective are now more than 3 years old and are back with a rejuvenated line-up. After losing one of our main songwriters the lads had struggled to keep up the prolific song writing that came from previous bouts of recording. Coupled with the fact the rest of don't have a scobby-doo about recording things had looked grim for the Den.

But that said the lads are a tight knit group and soldiered on regardless with Mike 'the Master' Quigley picking up some of the writing slack and coming up with the excellent 'Steven'. The recruitment of another childhood friend on drums (Jamie 'Im leaving in 5 minutes' Cornwall) really gave the band new impetus. It's hard to believe we even lasted so long without a drummer but the idea of taking the band live had always been a far off dream. With Euan 'Bad Boy Bass' Smith devoting more and more time to the band a five peice has formed around original members Tamo, Smy and Mikey.

The sound of the band has changed vastly in the last year with the new additions. From 2 lads in a bedroom recording to a rock and roll jamboree the band has certainly moved into more adventurous territory, gigs in the last year have included a support for Mark Morris @Dirty South and the usual trip to Tarbert festival. The band rarely gets up to tullibole for a practise and have moved into the studio, much love to babs for letting the band use her cottage for so long and supporting the band no matter how big or small the gig.

The band would also like to thank the many 'Collective' members who have conrtibuted musically and also in the various ways they have supported the band. Rosco, gaza, Lucia, Spinwallah, Siv, Pete, Big Col, Sauce, Scozza, Gerg, Gil, and the many many folk who have helped.
